" Food security (Agriculture and Livelihoods)

Gender-Based Violence (GBV) refers to harmful acts directed at an individual based on their gender. It encompasses a wide range of human rights violations, including sexual, physical, emotional, and psychological abuse.

Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH)

are essential components of public health that ensure access to clean water, proper sanitation facilities, and good hygiene practices.

Food security (Agriculture and Livelihoods)

Food security refers to the availability, access, and proper utilization of food necessary for all individuals to lead healthy and active lives. Agriculture plays a crucial role in ensuring food security by providing the primary source of food production.

Human Rights and Protection

Human Rights and Protection efforts are focused on safeguarding the fundamental rights and dignity of individuals, ensuring that all people are treated equally and fairly under the law.

Education and nutrition

Countering Violent Extremism (CVE)

Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) programs aim to prevent the radicalization of individuals and groups toward committing acts of violence based on extremist ideologies. These programs address the underlying social, political, and economic factors that contribute to radicalization, such as poverty.

Environmental conservation

Environmental conservation involves the protection, preservation, and sustainable management of natural resources and ecosystems to ensure their health and longevity for future generations. This includes efforts to safeguard biodiversity, restore damaged habitats, reduce pollution, combat climate change, and promote the sustainable use of land, water, and energy resources.

Income generation

Income generation programs often focus on building skills, providing access to resources like capital or equipment, and fostering entrepreneurship, especially in low-income or marginalized communities. These efforts aim to reduce poverty, enhance self-sufficiency, and create sustainable livelihoods by empowering people to actively participate in and benefit from economic activities.

Microfinance

Microfinance refers to the provision of financial services, such as small loans, savings accounts, insurance, and credit, to individuals and small businesses that lack access to traditional banking systems. It is primarily targeted at low-income populations, particularly in developing countries, to help them start or expand small businesses.

MAF Objectives

MAF seeks to provide disadvantaged people, particularly young people, in the UK and abroad, with access to Education & Health sporting activities that will improve their health and wellbeing, build confidence and nurture self-belief to succeed

" MAF seeks to address financial hardship, distress and suffering among poor people, widows, orphans, refugees, victims of natural disasters and those that have suffered abuse, by enabling, such people to access small grants that will provide access to food, water, equipment and services, medical treatment, accommodation and rehabilitation services that will address their hardship in times of greatest need

" MAF aims to provide benefit to the poor, underprivileged and needy through the provision of dedicated educational and support services in schools, libraries and training centres and to reduce excessive poverty through creating micro-credit and self-sustain supportive project to the community grass-roots though enhancement of livelihood projects

Equality

To advocate for the deprived right of the Female gender {Equality} as well as the young children and Improve livestock and agriculture through better animal husbandry and agricultural techniques. and Environmental protection through public awareness and fight deforestation through excellent programs of a forestation.

WASH

Promoting relevant & essential hygiene practices, Behavior and Attitudes, Improve accessibility of water and focus on community sanitation through awareness and rehabilitation of social infrastructure e.g. Dams and wells Alleviate poverty through the creation of micro-enter prices; beekeeping poultry keeping, vegetable gardening etc.

Response

In response to the recent floods in Afgoye district, a coordinated effort has been launched to provide essential food aid to 200 affected households. Each family will receive a carefully prepared relief package containing staple foods, including rice, flour, beans, cooking oil, and other necessary supplies to help them meet their nutritional needs during this difficult time. This humanitarian support aims to alleviate immediate hunger, enhance food security, and contribute to the overall recovery of the flood-impacted community, offering them hope and sustenance as they rebuild their lives.
