Who we are
Mukhtar Ali Foundation is a humanitarian and development organization committed to improving the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged communities in Somalia.
Established in March 2016, MAF works to address the interconnected challenges of poverty, food insecurity, limited access to essential services, displacement, inequality and environmental vulnerability.
Our approach is centred on community participation, empowerment and sustainable solutions. Lasting change is achieved when communities are actively involved in identifying challenges, developing solutions and taking ownership of their development.
